Overnights

We find that your pets are happiest and least stressed when remaining in their own comfortable and safe environments. Leaving your pets in someone else’s care isn’t something we take lightly. We appreciate any and all info you provide us to ensure the least amount of disruption for your much loved pets routines.

each overnight will include:

breakfast visit, midday leg stretch, dinner visit and a tuck-in visit are included with each overnight, along with staying the night in your home.

Standard Overnight - $125 per 24hrs, we will provide all necessary care for a pets typical daily needs, daily walks included (if applicable). when time allows, we will have hang time with your pets sprinkled throughout the day!

STandard Overnight - $160 per 24hrs this guarantees plenty of hang time with your pet(s). includes all the same as above plus guaranteed more hang time😍. we can stay the entire morning or afternoon, overall more catered 1-1 care for your pets, especially those super anxious pups. we aim to ease your worries while we provide peace of mind when you are away from your home.*this is also our most requested service

Please Don’t Leave me - $190+ per 24hrs same as above but geared more towards around the clock care. can be for puppies all the way up to senior dogs. dogs who don’t like to be alone and become disruptive to themselves and their surroundings, can benefit greatly from this service. We aim to keep them as cozy, comfortable and engaged while in our care so that you can enjoy your time away.

the total time for a standard overnight takes roughly 10 hours. $125/10= $12.50 which is before any travel time, expertise, payroll expenses, biz training & certifications, licensing, or most of all for providing you peace of mind. i always want to be fully transparent, and legal of course.

*$12.5/hr 40 hrs/week=$26k/year (roughly)

Say you leave early on a Thursday morning, service starts midday. The overnight price would cover through Friday breakfast until you return midday the last day, that would conclude a full overnight. the Basic idea is however many nights + the time for visits outside of those nights, depending on start/end times of service.. it can get confusing so please don’t be afraid to ask any questions beforehand!

we are one of very few professional, insured, bonded, licensed and fully certified pet sitters in or near richmond.

It does seem strange to pay us to sleep but you are requesting us to be in your home during the entire night. we are responsible for every single one of your pets from the time we get there until the time we leave, we don’t take that lightly. (we don’t get to sleep in our own beds those nights either.)

also consider this: prices are what we get paid ‘before’ any licensing, certifications, training, time to pet and other application costs are even considered, we won’t even begin to talk overtime, add in 40+ years experience and expertise, providing peace of mind, etc. and it’s not far off at all, so hard to put a value on your pets let alone their care provider. there are plenty of gig workers that can provide similar services, keep in mind they aren’t all certified, licensed, professional, trustworthy, honest, etc.

remember professionals have to pay extra in fees for certifications, licenses, bonding, insurance, pet first aid training, etc vs the gig worker that has zero requirements or training. it’s so so hard to slap a value on what we do though but there has to be a difference in pricing there.
